Hai,
I have installed Redhat Linux 7.2 and wu-ftpd service enabled for ftp. through proxy
i am not able access ftp service as it is giving authenticity problem while i am trying from IE browser and i want to download the files from some private server located at USA through this Linux proxy server from my IE browser.
Please guide me in this regard.

Let's see if I get this right:
From a windows workstation you are using IE
through an ftp proxy to connect with your
RH machine running wu-ftpd(which has many
security problems and should not be used btw).

Issue:
You are not able to authenticate to the ftp
service on the remote machine.

Hate to say it but with this amount
of detail, no information on your wu-ftpd
/system config(whether or not it accepts anon connects, filtration, acls,etc..)
no error messages, you are SOL.

Next time give some details.

Should try the ProFTPD then (www.proftpd.org).
