Hi.

I've got a little fstab problem. You see I've got a usb HD that is mounted when plugged in, but I can't seem to write to it whit normal user. I think this is because the temporarry folder created in /media/disk/ , which represents the usb HD is created with only root permission.
This is what I inserted in fstab on the right place: noauto, user,rw.
Shouldn't the "rw" command take care of all the read/wite permissions on the drive or must I also insert "sync" or something???

You may also want to try to add "umask=0" as an additional option. Fiddle with umask and rw options around, it simply has to work.
