I only know of free unix servers. But the commands are pretty similar. Try using a search engine to find free shell accounts. Maybe you will even find a linux account.
I use one at freenet.nether.net but there are many more free shell accounts you can get.

What search engine did you use? Every search engine I try I get lots of results. Anyways here is a list of some free shell accounts: http://www.freebelt.com/freeshells.html
And for freenet.nether.net. If you didn't manage to read their simple instructions on their site just follow these:
Telnet to nether.net type newuser as login name and answer the questions they ask you step by step. That's all.
Good luck and have fun.
