I found a great office suite called SOT Office. It is based on Star Office and Openoffice and is totaly free. It is totaly compatable with all of microsofts file formats so that means that whatever your document or presentation looks like in SOT Office it will look exactly the same in M$ Office. You can even download SOT Office for windows. I personaly think this is better than M$ office. Here is the link http://www.sot.com/en/linux/soto/download.shtml
I think that it is very simple to use and I like it a lot. It is somewhat based on OpenOffice.org but with more templates and file formats. I like it because it is fully compatible with other office Suites. You can also save and view microsoft file formats like .doc, .ppt, .xls.
Hope this information was useful.

yes I have heard about SOT office, but is it just free as in free beer or is it also "free" in the real meaning? Coz I think you can take openoffice source code and turn it into a commercial product without releasing the code. The license permits that.

Does it really do more than OpenOffice? It seems to be identical to OO, but with SOT splash screens. SOT is hoping to make money from OO by offering technical support to paying users. It's a market plan that I hope works - it will encourage the continued development of "free" software.
