floppy is mounted but can't access it

hello.
I am new to the Linux world, but i am having this problem, it shows that my floppy is mounted but when i try to access it, it wont work, i can't open any of my floppys, It plays dead. how can i over come this problem?

how do you know its mounted correctly, what error do you get, what command do you use to mount it.
any real info would be helpfull to all.

To be honest i dont know its mounted correctly, but i used the webmin, to see if it's mounted but it says it is, and also i tried to mount using mount /dev0/ mnt/floppy, it says its already mounted. so i have no clue to what could be the problem.
