Comment:

I've installed Flash in Mandrake 9.2. I
didn't install the Mozilla 1.4 that comes
with Mandrake, instead I installed Mozilla
1.5. I copied the two files,
flashplayer.xpt and libflashplayer.so to
the /usr/local/mozilla/plugins folder but
when I open Mozilla and checke the plugins,
Flash doesn't show up.

Any ideas?

(I've tried to versions of Flash and it
used to worke fine in Mandrake 9.1.)

Did you install it manually from a tarball or did you update an RPM via -U or KPackage, etc?

If you updated and RPM, try looking on this location.

:/opt/mozilla/lib/plugins

At least that where mine always is.

if u installed with rpm, you do not need to guess:

rpm -qi mozilla|grep plugins

otherwise:
find / -maxdepth 5 -type d -name plugins 2>/dev/null
