Hi!
First of all I'm really new in linux,so excuse me for stuppid questions.
I've got Knoppix3.3 installed on HD it's going well, but I can't connect to Internet throu local area and second question is where can I find list of Linux commands like we had for DOS?

I believe Knoppix has a network config on the taskbar by the k button. Do you have a router or do you just plug into the modem? I have Knoppix on cd and had to set the ip address but I don't have dhcp turned on on my router.

open a terminal (like a windows command
prompt) type netcardconfig
this will launch the knoppix net card config
program here you can tell linux how to
connect to the internet
