Hi,
this should be pretty easy as it was all set up at one time. Hope someone can help.

I have a second drive installed on my redhat box and had a friend come by to set up a share drive on this second hard drive. He set it all up and I saw the drive through samba via my windows machines.

Later, I rebooted the linux and now I cant find the new drive. Here are some things I tried:
df i see no new drive just hda1 and hda2
mount no luck

How do I go about troubleshooting a new drive. do I have to include something in a startup script to make it accessible to the windows machinces through samba?

I have no idea where to start my investigation. Please give me some clues

regards,

john
