Finding pass

I have been assingned a computer on my school, it has an Norwegian Version of School Linux. The computer is on a large network. But what i was wondering about, is it possible to find the passwords to the other accounts on the network?

even if you would find the passwords, you can't do anything with them, as they are encrypted!

And why would you even want to have those passwords? you probably can't use the personal files of those people because they are not meant for you.

Hey, respect their privacy!!!!
It's not because you have acces to linux that you can do anything with it!!!
