does anyone know if RH have put support for mpeg 1/2/3 into fedora as they removed it from RH 9.

Nope!!! But you can either remove the one on your system and install the new version from www.xmms.org or upgrade it... It works just fine on my Fedora Core 1.

You can just get the plugin from the xmms homepage or freshrpms.net It is a very small download and works great.
Same deal as RedHat 9
