I cant seem to access my Windows 98se partitions. I'm running Caldera Openlinux 2.3 on a Pentium 133 fossil with 72mram, 6.4 gig(win) & 1.3gig(linux) hd's, 8m ati rage, zoom 56k modem, ensonique audio pci.
OK, It says, "Unable to load module vfat." being a linux newbie, I am oblivious of the commands and such needed to do this right. I only know of the stuff provided by the KDE gui.
@ Kernel Module Config menu, to load fat,what verbatum insmod options should I input?

I don't have KDE so i can't help you for your last post.However the command is (open an xterm/rxvt/console and type) >insmod vfat (to load it) >lsmod vfat(to verify that is it loaded)
If you don't have this module,unfortunately you will need to recompile your kernel
OK, thanks for the info. I got it to load vfat, now I just gotta figure out how to access the virtual drives. Wish linux had a more literal veiw of my hd's. Guess I'm still stuck thinking dos. You know, c:\
