Hi, hope someone can help me. I've installed redhat 9 and all works fine, except for internet connection. I am connected via ethernet using DHCP. I have an ip address but the bcast address is 255.255.255.255 , i can ping my own ip address but cannot ping to either hostnames or ip addresses, I get "network unreachable". Could this be a NIC driver issue? or am i missing something real simple?
Thanks in advance.

You say that you are connected via ethernet
and DHCP....to what? Does your network have
a default gateway? Are you using an ADSL
router or similar on your network? You may
just need to set up a route, as root:
# route add -net default gw
ip.of.adsl.router netmask 0.0.0.0

NB all on one line
