could any one please help me install my HP EN1207D-TX PCI PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter in redhat 7.2. im new to redhat. all the other
distrobutions of linux automaticly installed my ethernet card. it asks stuff like the irq number and somethin about memory and io. i dont have a clue what any of this is. when i try to select the ethernet card it says it couldnt initialize the card. im quite new to linux so please explain carefully. thanx.

Linux and hardware, hmmm...
you might check linux.org/hardware and see if there is anything on compatibility with your NIC, it will probably be easier and faster to spend $15 on a DLink and be done with it. your right though, it's Odd that your having those problems with RH7.2, normally it auto detects everything

ArmedLinux won't recognise it?
