I am using linux 7.1 Samba 2.2.4 PDC name : Sahyadri (service pack 6a & all patches installed) Domain name : TULNT Created Machine account on PDC Able to ping NT PDC by name Problem : Unable to join the domain Trying to add samba machine to domain using Smbpasswd -j TULNT -r Sahyadri I am getting the following error: Unknown parameter encountered: "ssl CA certFile" Ignoring unknown parameter "ssl CA certFile" cli_net_auth2: Error NT_STATUS_NO_TRUST_SAM_ACCOUNT cli_nt_setup_creds: auth2 challenge failed modify_trust_password: unable to setup the PDC credentials to machine SAHYADRI.
