Well I got booted up my distro today to find a warning message saying that I need to check the superblock with this program, but I don't know were I begin. I have tried various commands but I don't know what to do. When I am in the distr o there are files that are sda1 (windows) and sda6 (linux). So I tried e2fsck -b 8193 -y /dev/sda6, but no luck :(

Intel E6300 Core 2 Duo
G.Skill 1GB DDR26400
Sapphire Radeon X1900XT
Seagate 320GB HDD
Windows XP Professional

I am unsure of this but,,

First you would need to be at runlevel 1
second , e2 stands for ext2 ,,,

Are you sure it's a ext2, and not a ext3 ?

Have to look at this a bit more ,,, Perhaps
