hello i have installed linux on my computer now i want to install windows 2000 on it. When i install the windows 2000 the linux can't boot tell me what should i do to dualboot the linux and win2k on the same machine. When i install linux i choose grub as my boot loader and on my MBR

Hi SolarisGuy, Typically you should install win first as it is easier to setup linux after that.
What you probably need to do now is install a boot manager like BootMagic from PoerQuest Partition Magic. In the bootmagic setup simply point it to boot to the linux paprtition. Then what you can do is boot into linux with the floppie and reset lilo so that it is on the linux partition and not the MBR.
or you can upgrade linux then dont select anypackages to upgrade and redo the lilo in there... thats the crappy way but will work if your not familiar with lilo.conf etc...
