Comment:

I had XP installed on my primary HD. Bought a new HD and installed Linux. Had GRUB write to the MBR for a dual boot. The menu screen pops up when I start my computer and if I selece Redhat it boots OK. If I select XP, different story.

It executes the commands:
rootnoverify(hd0,0)
chainloader +1

and then some Dell specific graphical screen pops up which I have never seen before (I have a Dell 4300) and asks me to press a key to continue. When I do this, my system restarts and goes to the boot loader menu again.

I don't know if this is a GRUB problem or not but my system was booting fine before I tried to install redhat. Has this happened to anyone else??

Thanks
