look for VMWARE. It's a good utility for your purpose.

Suse will automatically detect your first OS and direct you "if" you want to setup a dual boot scene. You'll need some free unpartitioned hard drive space, so if Whendoz is already using that, you'll either need to repartition and reinstall Whendoz on a smaller partition, or else get some third party tool like Partition Magic so you can resize the existing one.

I'm not sure if XP, when installed second, will support the same dual boot scenario or not. It will if you have an earlier version of Windows, like w2K, 98, etc.

I use "Vcom's" "System Commander"

There are plenty out there. And some good ones that are free.

A simple "Google" search for "boot managers" should help you out.

As an addendum to post number three:

With most distributions, you can choose to put the bootloader in the MBR if you want to set up a dual boot scenario.

If you need a good partitioning tool (free too), get System Rescue CD (a System rescue suite on a Live CD image). System Rescue CD includes Gparted (a disk partitioning tool similar to Partition Magic). You can read the complete details on their WEB site.

Burn the System Rescue CD image to a disk and boot from the disk. It will load to a command prompt. Enter 'startx' (no quotes) and press the Enter key to get to a GUI. Gparted can be started with one of the large square icons on the right side of the screen.
