i did that...then got the following error...
starting grub...
error 21.i am not sure what this means...i get no other errors in re-setting it up...
is there anyway to use the boot.ini in windows to select between linux?thanks!

from the GNU GRUB manual:21 : Selected disk does not exist This error is returned if the device part of a device- or full file name refers to a disk or BIOS device that is not present or not recognized by the BIOS in the system.

i have windows and redhat linux 7.2 dual boot previously its working fine . after reinstallation of windows at startup dual boot options is not coming but partition is there and boot from bootable of linux is working fine so can u help me out where i have to define path for dual booting
