Dual Boot Linux

Comment:
How can I dual boot with Windows 2000 and Linux, but with an NTFS partition not FAT32. Is there any new Linux kernel that can mount the NTFS file system properly? I’ll be running either Slackware 8.1 or SuSE 8.0 Linux distros. The dual boot will be on an 11 gig HD. How would I partition the drive (i.e. partition sizes, locations etc)? Thanks

What do you mean by "properly"? Linux has had read-only support for NTFS for a while. It works properly, but write support isn't yet supported.

this question must have been asked here about 100 times in the last 2 weeks. please try to find some info on your own first before you make someone reread googles results for you.
i dont want to be rude but answering the same questions over and over is getting boring and if you just take 5 minutes to google the web for "dual boot linux windows" you will advance much faster than by posting in a forum.

That's why I am kind of ignoring those kind of questions because people just ask the same thing over and over and over and over and over... (By the way, did I mention that people just ask the same question over again until the cows come home!) Too tire to type the same answer again and again and again and again... In fact, the answer is already posted on RedHat's Website for days now, on the right side! Heck with this, I am going to bed.
