Dual boot Linux & Windows 98

I am thinking of buying a new PC with the above specs which is being offered as a package by a local store. It comes with Mandrake (9?) installed. I might like to partition the disk & install Win 98 on a dual boot basis. Can I do the disk partitioning under Linux as that is how the PC comes ? My background is as a Win 95 user.

Under Mandrake you have "diskdrake" which may not be as powerful as something like partition magic but may do the job for you. There is also a text based partition program called "fdisk" (sound familiar?!?)

Yes that will not be a problem you can put 98 or xp what ever you whant.
