Reply: (edit)seems that i had this problem awhile ago w/ a d-link pcmcia card of my own. From what i recall, first you need to determine the chipset of your card. If it is a Texas Instruments ACX100 or ACX111 your in luck, there is an opensource driver that worked well for my card: http://acx100.sourceforge.net/ otherwise your sol :( But you now u have a real option: !get a real card! -specifically an orinoco gold card or similar. especially if your looking at getting into network intrusion detection or become wireless savy.. if you need more info, post it
