Comment: I have this problem trying to set up my server to act as a web server and to share my internet at the same time with Mandrake. If I set up my internet connection with drakconnect. My internet works on the server. Then if I share it with drakgw, all computers on my lan have internet including the server. but as soon as I as I tell Drake to remove the firewall so that all my webservices can serve the net.... boom! internet sharing is lost. can someone help me? maybe tell me how to set up internet sharing manually with iptables? Im trying to route internet coming in from eth1 and to share it to eth0 and have all ports open for internet on eth1. thanks in advance P.S. sorry if this question was already answered, I tried looking but I wasn't sure what to look for as keywords.

Reply: (edit)I still can't figure it out... is there a way to disable shorewall (and whatever other things Mandrake uses by default for networking) from starting and making a nice iptables script to start on boot that will make eth1 connect to the Internet and share it through to the lan on eth0? any help would be greatly appreciated!
