Downloading Suse 8.0

I wanted to download suse 8.0 but there is a section wanted to know if I wanted an i586 file or i686 file. What is that? Is i586 or have some thing to do with the processor? I have a P3 laptop w/ 256 ram. Please help me out

An i586 is a Pentium XX processor (Intel 586), so that's what you'll want to use. I believe i686 is for 64-bit processors.
