I want to download all the files from a certain branch of an FTP automatically, how would I do this, or what program can do it automatically? Not the entire FTP, just that directory. (it has about 40 files)

you should have mentioned what ftp client you are using. If you download a flashfxp clone for linux or emulate flashfxp with wine for example, you should be able to download all the files by queueing them.

I did a Google search for "linux ftp gui" and found several possible links. I followed one and found. AxY FTP 0.5.1. You can get it: http://linux.inet-systems.net/internet/preview/55547.html
AxY FTP is very similar to a Windows program called wsftp32. With AxY FTP you can select single or multiple files. If you select a directory it will download the whole directory contents.
If you do not like AxY FTP I am sure there are other such programs out there. You will just have to find one you like.
