If those are your posts below you seem to be having a frustrating time. I am not sure what you have done exactly.
According to the Corel website these are the components you get with the download version:
Corel® LINUX® OS Second Edition
Download versionComponents:
Corel® LINUX® OS – based on Debian 2.2.16 Kernel & glibc 2.1
Enhanced KDE DesktopCorel® Install Express
Corel® File Manager
Corel® Update
MP3 Player (XMMS)
Adobe® Acrobat® Reader
Macromedia Flash™ Player 4
Instant Messenger – ICQ-compatible client
eFax
Netscape® Communicator
Normally there ia a text file with installation instructions or help of some kind. The "Install Express" sounds relevant. The only Corel Linux I tried was on the cover disk of a mag and allowed creation of a floppy boot disk as I described in another post.
As you may be aware, Corel pulled out of the Linux market in 2000. The business was picked up by another firm but is not backed up by the Corel corporation. Corel Linux was not among the better distrubutions anyway so don't expect too much when you get it running.
As you know, some distributions are downoaded as ISO images and have to be burned to a CD in order to access the files.
If you downloaded a series of separate files then logically you already have them on your hard disk - so what are you extracting them from? There must be something on the download site
or among the files you downloaded to tell you how to proceed.

i am using winimage to extracted them from the cd in iso format every other folder goes sucefully except for the live forder it sais files or read only. ps i have tried using iso buster but same thing hapens with the live folder please help me kelson

Afraid I haven't used winimage or isobuster.
But I have used CDRWin and Nero to burn downloaded ISO images and they always worked out ok. The files are extracted from the ISO image during the burning process and they can either be copied directly from the CD to the hard disk or run from the CD. Never had any problems with 'read only'.If you don't have a burner of your own perhaps you could remove your hard disk and temporarily install it in a friend's PC as a second drive while they burn the CD for you.
If you want a program for burning the ISO try CDRWin -it's a free download and only runs at single speed but is perfectly OK for the task. Golden Hawk Technology is the company (German) and you may need a WNASPI32.DLL file to put in the folder so it recognises the burner. Find them with a search engine.
Don't know what else to suggest unless you look for a copy of Linux on a magazine cover disk, join a local Linux User Group and get one from them, or scrounge around for one somewhere else.
Good luck!
