Ebay is very cheap plus you can get distro's from magazines as well.

To download a large distro like Suse & Fedora Core you need DSL but not for something like Damn Small Linux.

Turn it off, wait a while, turn it back on again.

buy all mine here, excellent service. I ordered a VectorLinux CD once that instead had OpenOffice on it, they sent me the latest Vector distro at their cost only on my word. That's just one mistake out of the many CD's that were excellent i have bought from them for the last 4 years.

Some distros like ubuntu will post you out CDs for free....
