I had just installed Mandrake 8.1 onto my PC, but now I need to wipe it out and installed Windows. I can't seem to remove the partition through fdisk. I need some advice as to how to accomplish this.

Use the same Linux cd as you are trying to install and use expert mode. When hard drive partiotion comes use clear all and then click done. Do not go further restart the computer with windows bootup disk. Make sure you remove the Linux cd. Now do fdisk/mbr to remove your lilo from mbr and then partition with Fdisk (window partition).
