displays blanks out in redhat....

hi, does anyone know why display blanks out in rehat 6.2 every so often?
i have disabled the screen saver, power management, and have also type in the following as the linux website have suggested: setterm powersave off - blank 0.
it works fine in KDE environment, but not in gnome, pls help.

I've had that 3-4 times in kde i just reboot and its gone
