I am having some display problems. I use a Cirrus-Logic 5428 adapter (listed as 542x) with a CTX CVP-5468 display under Linux-Mandrake 7.1 with XFree86 4.0 Nothing new has been added and nothing has been changed in the system. I cannot make the X Window system display in more than 8-bit depth. Every time I try to test it in 16 or 24 bit, a message window says that there are no screens and advises me to changes some settings. Please, if you can help me, post a reply. Thank you.
