difference between red hat cd and d/l

the red hat box set often comes with, start office, and other small side programs. It also has a trial period of customer service and priority ftp access. Check the web page, its all listed there. In my opinion, if you have a fast net connection, its best to just download. I just downloaded the entire 7.2 two disk set, and am perfectly happy w/out customer support. If you need help, its usually easier to get it from others than a company anyway.

Won't red hat, ummm. go out of business if people don't BUY their distros? I wonder how the distributors make their money if they just give their software away ? I must admit, I use a box set of SuSE at work, and it's nice having the manuals there to look stuff up. However, i've been using linux too long without manuals and always use online help anyway :)
