Hello, I have an Aztech HCF modem configured (using a driver on found the net). I can get it connected through a terminal or consol using WVDIAL. From there i can browse. The problem is: i am not able to get connected from KDE or any other Xwindow. Net_monitor says the connection has failed. How to configure my internet access from KDE? Also, when i get connected through wvdial, the connection only work for a few minutes before i get disconnected.

It probably hasn't been installed but you should be able to find it on the installation CDs. Launch "rpmdrake" and install it from there, it should prompt you for the correct CD.
Alternatively, you could set up your sources and use urpmi to install it from the net.
