Hi,
This is what I am trying to do.
I have a Desktop running Redhat 7.3 at my office and a Laptop running Rehat 7.3 at home.
I have a 100Mbps fast ethernet at office. Now I want to run a Dial U

Oh wow....this sounds like something your network admins would really not approve of. Don't they offer any kind of VPN access, that you could tunnel VNC, Citrix, etc through?

The message has not been completely posted.
This is what I want to do.
I want to run a Dial Up server on my Desktop ion office, which is connected to 100Mbps ethernet.
Using my laptop in home, I want to dial into my Desktop and access Internet. This way I don't need to have an account with any ISP.
I tried running pppd and related to able have my own private ISP,...but invain.
Any suggestions welcome!!

Assuming you work in a corporate environment...believe me, this is something you don't want to try. Your admins will have your head for it - not necessairily because you're using their internet access, but becuase it opens up gaping security holes in their network. Saving a few bucks isn't work incurring the wrath of your network admins, and your HR people won't be too happy with you either. Unless you're doing this with their blessing, it's not worth it.
