How can I adjust DHCP timeout during boot up? I have two NIC's in my box set up for DHCP, and the one that is disconnected will keep trying to grab an IP until it times out and it makes boot time very slow. I dont want to assign a static IP, but I dont want it timing out every time. How could i set the timeout to something like 10 seconds?

Your dhcp client probably has a command line option or something. For example dhcpcd has the -t option, you'd use -t 10. Modify your boot scripts and add that option.
