Hi,

During RHEL installation, I have an option to install the Developement Tools but I didn't select this. After RHEL is installed, how do I install the Developement Tools? Do I have to re-install the OS to install it? Thanks.

No. You should be able to install the development tools using the RedHat Package Manager. I do not use RedHat here, so I can not be of any further help, Best of luck,

Thanks. I could use yum to update but I always get this message about:

this system is not registered, and then

no package available, nothing to do.

I get this for any package I want to install/update.

Do I need to register with RHN for yum to work. Or yum needs to be reconfigured? Thanks.
