are you saying that Windoze is already installed & u r trying to access it? or you are trying to install from scratch?
In the latter case , u should not be booting from the hard drive.

Your problem is that Grub is installed in the Master boot record of your hard drive. You'll need an Win XP boot disk of some kind that has fdisk on it. Boot up from the boot disk and run fdisk /MBR and that should reinstall the Windows boot loader in the Master boot record. Repartitioning and formatting the hard drive will not do anything to the Master boot record itself.

fdisk /mbr is fine for windoze 95/98/me, for 2000/XP you should boot off the installation CD and go to the recovery console and use the commands "fixmbr" and "fixboot".
Saying that just running the installation of XP should do that for you, check your boot order in your BIOS. Are you able to boot from other CDs?
Summary: I have a hard drive with a WinFAT32 (primary) partition and Linux (extended) partition. I want to restore it to all Windows but I need to delete the Linux partition and Microsoft's Fdisk can't do it....
