If you have 1 drive fdisk /dev/hda
hit p to print out the partitions. hit d and enter the partion you want removed. hit w and it will write to disk. Done.

download the freebie partitioner program called part.exe from download.com (?). Run the program, it is self explan... from there.. of course you have to boot to dos. I use it because i can also toggle back to the standard ipl and have it not run lilo, when I have my triple boot machine..

fdisk from a dos disk. type fdisk /mbr at the a: prompt to get rid of LiLo.
Summary: I have a hard drive with a WinFAT32 (primary) partition and Linux (extended) partition. I want to restore it to all Windows but I need to delete the Linux partition and Microsoft's Fdisk can't do it....
Summary: I deleted my linux partition because i wanted to intall Windows XP but when i deleted the partition and rebooted it comes up with GRUB and won't let me run setup windows cause it comes up with the GRU...
