Is there a way I can do this? I want to do this because I decided to use Bootmagic as bootloader now. I'm using Redhat 9.

I don't think this will help much, but I had to re-load RedHat nine to switch the boot loader to LiLo. I am sorry, but that is the only solution that I know of.

your options:
1. delete c: (with xp) and that will delete your boot record and xp.

2. re-install xp because xp would replace your boot record. but re-installing xp is tedious for me.

3. consult the documentation for grub. there should be an entry for uninstalling there. sorry i really do not know.

i have tried using other boot loaders as well but lilo and grub are the only ones out there specifically for linux dual booting.
