delete existing partition and reformat

I would like to delete the existing partition and files off a second HardD and put Linux on it. Im pretty sure I use fdisk to clean it? or should I use some Linux command. I have tomsrtbt avail. if this would help? (im running XPpro on my primary) thank you in advance. -J

You can either use the DOS fdisk to remove the existing partition, or wait until the Linux installation. Most Linux installers will guide you through removing and/or creating partitions on drives you wish to install on.
