I have a graphic tool which runs under Solaris
normally.
After I managed to install it under Linux (redhat 9)
the graphic tool cannot read the binay data. It
returns the following message.
---------------
5:
css3.0 wfdisc format error:
file: /home/ma/MT20020420/20020420/biny.bhn
line 1 format error: attribute name: time
css2.8 wfdisc format error:
file: /home/ma/MT20020420/20020420/biny.bhn
line 1 format error: attribute name: date
Header format error. Bad DELTA:
/home/ma/MT20020420/20020420/biny.bhn
header read error:
/home/ma/MT20020420/20020420/biny.bhn
line 0: format error: attribute name: delta
No data found in /home/ma/MT20020420/20020420/biny.bhn

6: No data found.
-----------------------
One computer technician knows the technique that can
be used to solve the problem: Changing disc format or
binary mode or something.
After making some changes in the Linux system, the
graphic tool can read the binary dada (earthquake
waveform records data).

If you know the technique, I hope you can tell me, or
point me to some references.

Thanks in advance,
Your customer, Shutian
