First Problem: I'm using dansguardian to filter internet content, and I cannot access it from other computers. I have it set up to listen on both ethernet cards, and on port 8080. It connects to squid (squid works for othe computers) on port 80. It works for internet browsing from localhost, but not from anywhere else. Maybe it could be because other computers are win98se, but probably not.
Second Problem: I would like to set the computer up so I don't need to set the proxy info for each browser and program, and also to allow programs that do not suppory proxy to work. I have heard of a transparent proxy, and as I understand, you use that computers IP as a gateway. How would I go about setting that up with iptables? Thanks
