BTW its to install the NVIDIA drivers so if anyone has a prcompiled thingy can you hook me up?

Just a side note::
I tried to use apt get for the source but no go an - apt-cache search kernel-source - returns source package only up to 2.4.19. whereas a: uname -r returns: 2.4.26. so now im really confused :(

OK i finally got the correct source package installed and by using the --kernel-source-path switch in the NVIDIA installer it now works, however it now has two new errors:
1) It says that my version of GCC is different from the one that the source was compiled with, 2.95 and the new one is 3.3. Will this matter?
2)if i continue it then goes on about installing the correct source for my distribution. I use damn small linux - which uname -r reports as 2.4.26 and i downloaded the debian 2.4.26 package using apt-get (dsl is based on debian i thought this would be fine!!!)
any ideas?
