ok i am new to the linux world and take it the bank have not a clue now with that said i have a network and it works fine the mandrake 8.0 worked fine but no sound card was in the list from hardrake a sound blaster 16AEW now o put in a Crystal 3D 128 Voice Sound Card ISA now it list part of the card in sound cards but one part of it is listed in other devices it said
(this device hasn't been identified by harddrake,please send a pnpdump output and this device id csc0010 to harddrake@mandrakesoft.com)
any one had this and what did you do to fix it?
the computer is a pentII 266 and works perfect under WINDOWS ME and the new sound card works fine with it as well if you can help please send me email and please post it! for others
