creating a bootable dvd / blag

Hi, I am having a hard time finding a program using winxp(hear me out please) to create a bootable dvd, blag linux bootable installation dvd. I found it pretty effortless to do this for cds, but this dvd thing is making me crazy.Any way I hope someone is willing to help me out here. I don't know which forum to use. xp or linux, this seemed the logical choice. bye p.s I do have a dvd-rom burner

How did you do it for CDs? What sort of errors are you getting when trying to create DVDs? What windoze app are you using? I would have thought that Nero would be able to help: http://www.ahead.de/
