I recently downloaded the latest Corel Linux, in ISO format, from the Xandros.net website.... I burned it, and installed it on my Win/DOS partition.. Naturally i went to boot it up right away and try out my fun linux OS, but... once the kernal unpacking and stuff was done, KDE looked like it was booting normal for about 1 second.. then everything was fuzzy.. let me explain, i have a fairly nice PC, decent stuff... linux has worked before!, but, my moniter/video-card just plain suck, its for old win3.11 systems, and only has capability for 800x600 16 bit color, and Corel linux obviously boots up in 1024x728, at least from the looks of it, is there any way i can boot in a linux version of safe mode... or something?? PLEASE HELP.... I am a fairly young OS Enthusiest, I have Win2k, BeOSr5, and i used to have a cheap vers of linux (winlinux), now i want to go into big leage stuff like corel, (i picked corel cus of the nice graphic upgrades they put in) so please! help me out!!!
