Hello everyone! :-D
(I'm not sure if this is the right forum, so sorry if it's not)

OK, so I copied an image of Slax Linux (live CD) into my flashdrive. That worked fine. Then I added some of my own files to it and deleted Slax after a while so I could try ReacOS (another live CD).

This time, however, since I have files on the drive, I didn't write the image itself, instead I just copied the files to it.

When I booted, Slax's boot prompt was still there... Is there any way to copy the MBR from an image to a drive? I remember doing this with floppies, but I can't remember with what program... WinImage maybe? How?

Thanks! ;-)

I'm assuming the bs=512 part means the MBR is on the first 512 bytes? Thanks! ;-)
