Is it possible to connect Win98 as a Client to Redhat Linux 6.2 Server? If so, How? I am new to Linux and trying to connect my Win 98 to Linux. Thanks Everyone
What do you want to do? Samba is a LAN Manager software, helps you set up your file and print sharing needs easily and seemlessly. If you do not need file or print sharing but only need an internet connection sharing, don't waste your time getting acquainted with samba... simple networking or masquerading will make your day. Good Luck.

There are no Linux drivers (yet) for an Intel Pro/DSL 2100 modem. However there seems to be someone at Intel (randy.trost@intel.com) who is trying to find out if there is any interest in such a thing. People should email him.
Because of this you'll have to use Win98 or WinME as a server for your internet connection (using MS ICS, Internet Connection Sharing) and your RH6.2 box as the client. Which is just backwards from what you would want to do. (It does work though)
