Hello Guies,
I've successfully connected my NOKIA 3220 with my PC usig a DKU - 5 data cable through the USB port using Windows for data transfering purposes. But I don't know how to do that in Fedora Core 1. The drivers' CD for DKU - 5 only provides drivers for Windows. If anyone knows where to find the corresponding Linux drivers; also the steps required (mounting etc.) to connect?
Thanx. Regards.

Haven't really played around with mobiles under linux much. If you are connecting via USB then it may be similar to a mass storage device like a digital camera or memory stick. If it is you should be able to mount the device as though it is the first SCSI device on your system, eg:
$ mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/mobile
You may need to pass a "-t vfat" or "-t usbfs" switch to tell mount what file system the device is using.This may allow you to access certain files (may not even work at all!) but probably wont have the functionality of your windoze drivers/app. Kandy is a KDE mobile phone communicator....never tried it myself though.

Hi dev,
Thanx for ur suggestions. I really did't know 'bout Kandy. I found another one of the same kind called Kontact. But none worked.
I did try the mount command before posting my query but it shows
/dev/sda1 is not a block device.
Anyways, thanx for help.
