First of all I am a dumb*ss when it comes to Linux, but I am trying. So here is my question. Can someone please tell me how to connect RedHat 7.3 to a Windows 2000 domain? I am trying to access the internet but in order to do that I need to get through an ISA server and in order to get through that my system needs to be a member of the domain. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Samba is your answer.

Also the computer account must be created in the domain prior to the Linux box joining.

This should answer all your questions:

If it is just internet, you don't need to join the domain. Set up an account with the boarder management, the way you go.
