after instaling redhat 7.3 and configuring xfree86 on it i have the following problem:

(ee) cirrus(0): no vlid mmio adress in PCI config spce
(ee) cirrus(0):12c initialization faild
(ee) cirrus(0):no valid modes found
(ee) Screen(s) found but none have a usable configuration

Fatal server error:
no screens faund

whne rreprting...(blaa blah blah)...

XIO: Fatal IO error 104 (conection reset by peer) on X server ":0.0 after 0 request (0 known procedures ) with 0 events remaining)


and trying to get to the the log file i get a permission denied ansewr though im root
thanks a lot for any help

ok i got to the log file it gos like this:
(==)using config file :""/etc/x11/xf86config-4"
(==) serverlayout "xfree86 configurd"
(**)|--> Screen0" (0)
(**)| |-->Monitor "goldstar 1460 plus vga"
(**)| |--> Device "cirrus logic gd543x"
(**)|-->input device "mouse0"

Hey mate,

i was getting errors similar to this when i was trying to start X as well.
running XF86Setup and configuring my system there fixed this.. except i couldn't my damn mouse to work!!
